Writing is a Process,
Not an Event
"The most beautiful words are born in the furnace of revision."

PROCESS
Good process,
consistently good results
Let's be honest. Good writing is hard. It takes effort to come up with a topic, gather background information and references, write, revise, and then finally publish.
InkFurnace was created not to help you just make more AI-generated content, but to involve you in the process of making better human-created content.
(With AI help, of course!)

YOUR WRITING, YOUR VOICE
Write like you, only faster.
MAKE A PLAN
Before you jump into writing, lay out what you intend to write. What are the topic areas you intend to cover? Who is the audience? Will you need citations? If so, what type?

RESEARCH
Gather information to support your writing. Have others written about this? If so, and you're publishing online, now is a good time to consider key things to include for maximum reach.
If you will have citations, this is when to gather the sources you will use.
Making good notes at this stage will help you avoid plagiarism later on, as you will be writing from your notes and not the primary source.
DRAFT
Now that you have good notes, it's time to write. This is your first draft, and ideally you will want to revise a few times before you consider the work final.
Mark Twain once said, "The time to begin writing an article is when you have finished it to your satisfaction. By that time you begin to clearly and logically perceive what it is that you really want to say."
In other words, plan to revise!

PUBLISH
Having followed a good process, now you should have a piece of writing you can be happy with. After you check your references and give it one more read, you are ready to publish/turn in the work.
Nice Job!
